Tiger Woods and his son Charlie were seen making putts on the golf course at the PNC Championship Pro-Am in a video posted by Golf Channel on December 21. Although a lot of popular stars are competing, the father and son duo are one of the main attractions in this unique golf championship.

In the video, Tiger and Charlie are seen practicing their shots with the veteran golfer sporting a dark grey pullover and a white cap. Tiger appears to be looking at Charlie playing in the 18-hole-course and awaiting his turn as the 15-year-old golfer dials in his putters.

Before ending his practice session, Charlie appeared to put in a few extra shots with Tiger following suit. Golf Channel posted the video of Charlie and Tiger Woods on their official X account and captioned it:

"Charlie and Tiger Woods dialing in their putters for PNC Championship Saturday."

This is Woods's first appearance since his presence at the Open Championship back in July 2024. He underwent back surgery(microdiscectomy) for the sixth time in his career back in September and is finally back to competitive golf at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando with Charlie on his team.

In an interview with NBC Golf, Woods expressed how impressed he is with Charlie. Shortly after heading to the green course for putting in, Tiger Woods talked about Charlie's performance. As reported by PGATour.com, he said:

“I think he's doing a great job. In this day and age where you have so many different – everyone is basically media, with all the phones. Being constantly filmed and constantly people watching, that's just part of his generation, and that's part of the world that he has to maneuver through. I try and do the best job I possibly can as a parent."

Tiger Woods and Charlie finished with 19-under par in the PNC Championship Pro-Am in 2023. They will aim to clinch their maiden PNC Championship title this year by dethroning the defending champions, Bernhard and Jason Langer.

The 82 PGA title-winner and his son first stepped into the PNC Championship Pro-Am arena back in 2020. Since the tournament was divided into two parts, Team Woods ranked seventh and seventh on the leaderboard in 2020. In 2022, Charlie and Woods tied for the eighth spot on the table with 20-under par. Last year, they ended up tying for the 5th spot.

While he was talking with Sirius XM, Woods expressed his feelings about having his son as a teammate. Tiger Woods told Brian Katrek:

"Well, there's always banter back and forth, but this week it's about us coming together and teaming up. Normally we're opposing each other, but this time we are a team and gonna have a bunch of fun." [0:27 onwards]

The 48-year-old legendary American professional golfer will be playing his fifth PNC Championship with Charlie Woods on December 21. The father and son duo are all set to compete against 19 other teams and will be paired with Justin and Luke Leonard.
