Minjee Lee and her brother Min Woo Lee are hosting a golf event in their home country this week and invited fans to join them. The Australian LPGA Tour golfer recently shared an invite to the fans on her Instagram page. She posted a picture of the tournament's poster along with a caption inviting the people to join them.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Royal Fremantle Golf Club from January 9 to 12. Minjee Lee invited people to the series by sharing the picture along with the caption:
"Come support the Webex Players Series Perth hosted by @minwoolee27 & myself this week! We will be out and about during the week. Come say Hi and watch the competitors tear it up at @royalfremantlegolfclub."
Min Woo Lee reshared the story on his Instagram account.
Min Woo and Minjee Lee are currently taking time away from the greens. Although the PGA Tour started with its season-opening event last week, Woo Lee was not a part of the Sentry 2025.
Meanwhile, Minjee Lee last played at the CME Group Tour Championship, where she tied for 30th place. She is having an off-season these days.
In the last season of the LPGA Tour, Minjee Lee played in 21 tournaments and made the cut in 16 of them. She recorded four finishes in the top 10. Some of her notable finishes from the last season were T14 at the Annika, eighth at the Buick LPGA Shanghai, T9 at the US Women's Open, T7 at Cognizant Founders Cup, and T4 at Blue Bay LPGA.
Min Woo Lee enjoys playing "Fortnite" while away from the greens
As Min Woo Lee is not scheduled to play in any tournament these days, he had a great time playing Fortnite. Recently, taking to his Instagram account, the Aussie shared a picture after winning the Fortnite match. He wrote:
"OG Fortnite... been a while."
Along with that, Woo Lee also posted another picture sharing his review of the popular newly released second season of Squid Game. He reshared a picture of Netflix, in which the giant streaming platform created a top artist’s pick. The list includes all the top-5 picks topped by Squid Game's Thanos.
Resharing the picture, Woo Lee wrote:
"T.O.P Squid Game season 2 was intense."
Meanwhile, in the last season of the PGA Tour, Min Woo Lee played in a total of 19 tournaments. He had recorded some decent finishes in the last season, including two runner-ups.
The Australian started the 2024 campaign at The American Express with a T21 finish and he was the runner-up at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches and Rocket Mortgage Classic.
