"We do this a lot at home" – When Tiger Woods' daughter caddied for him at the PNC Championship

Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie Woods, will be back in action at the PNC Championship this week. Last year, although the duo didn't win the title, it was a special outing for the Woods family as both of the veteran golfer's children were present at the event.

During the 2023 PNC Championship, Tiger Woods was still in search of a caddie after parting ways with Joe LaCava. As a result, his daughter, Sam Alexis Woods, accompanied him as his caddie.

During the post-round interview on Day 1 of the 2023 PNC Championship, Woods said it was a memorable experience for the family, especially since it was Sam's first time serving as a caddie. He said:

"For me to have both my kids inside the ropes like this and participating and playing and being part of the game of golf like this, it couldn't have been more special for me, and I know that we do this a lot at home, needle each other and have a great time. But it was more special to do it in a tournament like this."

During her childhood, Sam was a regular feature at Tiger Woods' tournaments alongside Charlie. Both also served as caddies during the Masters Par-3 Contest. However, unlike her father and brother, Sam has not shown much interest in golf and played soccer while growing up.

During the press conference, Tiger Woods also revealed that he didn't play golf with his daughter, as she wasn't particularly inclined to the sport.

"She does her own thing, which is soccer," he said. "She's committed to that. As far as golf, no, she really doesn't. She'll hang out in the backyard with us every now and again to have fun, but nothing competitive or serious."
