Keegan Bradley emerged victorious at the 2024 BMW Championship, winning the tournament by one stroke over Sam Burns, Ludvig Aberg, and Adam Scott. The second of three FedExCup playoffs concluded on Sunday, August 25, at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Bradley was positioned 50th in the FedExCup standings after the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship. He jumped 46 spots to fourth after his performance at the Castle Pines earned him 2000 points.

Keegan Bradley's father Mark was present at Castle Rock to witness his son's first professional victory. Bradley revealed he learned golf from his father. Talking about their relationship, Bradley said (via PGA Tour):

"Yeah, well, he taught me how to play. So he was a club pro his whole life. I went to work with him every day. And, you know, fast forward to now I get to see me win for the first time. So what a day."

Keegan Bradley won $3.6 million of the total prize money of $20 million at the BMW Championship. His father Mark was extremely happy and proud. H said (via PGA Tour):

"Oh, my gosh. I'm so proud. Like I said, it's the first time, like Keegan said, that I've ever seen him win live. I saw him win the Grand Slam and some amateur events, the Wyoming State Amateur, but never, never this. So this is a very, very special day."

When asked how gratifying it was to have his father at his first victory, Bradley said (via ASAP Sports):

"Yeah, well, he comes to a handful of tournaments a year. You just have to get lucky to be at one of these that you win at. You never know where you're going to win. I've been fortunate enough to have my family at almost all of my wins."

Bradley will next compete in the Tour Championship at the East Lake Golf Course from August 29 to September 1, 2024.
