Tiger Woods competed at the Masters in 2022 and finished in T47 place with a score of 13. He was involved in a car accident in 2021 and injured his leg, which forced him to stay away from most of the tournaments. However, he still played at the Masters with the hope of wearing the green jacket for the sixth time and matching the record set by Jack Nicklaus.
However, his dream was left hanging on a cliffhanger last year. Woods opened with a birdie on the sixth hole and then made a bogey on the eighth hole. He ended the first round of the Masters with three birdies and two bogeys to wrap up with a score of 71.
However, his performance degraded in the second round when he made four bogeys in the first five holes. Tiger Woods then went on to make a birdie on the eighth and 10th holes.
Woods ended the second day with six bogeys and four birdies. The second day concluded with a score of 74. His performance in the third round slipped the tournament out of hand.
Tiger Woods' made two eagles in the third round on the fifth and 18th holes. He made six bogeys and three birdies on the third day.
He again made an eagle in the last round and ended up with a score of 78, to finish with a score of 13. Scottie Scheffler won the tournament in 2022.
2022 The Masters leaderboard
Scottie Scheffler won the Masters in 2022, beating Rory McIlroy by three strokes. Scheffler finished with a scoring deficit of 10 while McIlroy was at a deficit of seven.
Shane Lowry secured third position alongside Cameron Smith while Collin Morikawa finished with a scoring deficit of four to finish at fifth position.
Corey Conners and Will Zalatoris finished in the sixth position while Sungjae Im and Justin Thomas in the eighth position.
Cameron Champ and Charl Schawartzel took 10th place, followed by Dustin Johnson and Danny Willett, who finished with a score of 1 and finished in 12th position.

It is important to note that Tiger Woods will compete at the Masters in 2023, scheduled to take place from April 6-9 at the Augusta National Golf Course.
He competed in the 2023 Genesis Invitational Open and then missed a few tournaments to practice for The Masters. Woods developed plantar fasciitis in December 2022 and revealed that he will only be focusing on major tournaments in 2023.
