Phil Mickelson's team Hyflyers played at the 2023 LIV Golf Miami Championship and finished in eighth position. In the quarterfinal of the tournament, the team beat Smash GC to qualify for the semifinal, where 4Aces defeated them.

In the quarterfinal, Phil Mickelson competed in a single match against Brooks Koepka, where the 2023 PGA Championship winner defeated Mickelson by 6&4. In the semifinal, again Mickelson lost the match against Dustin Johnson by 2&1.

Phil Mickelson played in the final round of the 2023 LIV Golf Miami Championship in a stroke-play format. He started the game on the seventh hole. He then made a double bogey on the eighth hole but fortunately returned to the game and carded a birdie on the 13th and another birdie on the 18th hole to finish with an even-par score. He played a round of 72.

Mickelson's other team member Cameron Triangle played a round of 2-under 70, Brendan Steele played a round of one-under-par 71 while James Piot finished with a score of 8-over par 80.

The team settled for the eighth position in the Team Championship. Phil Mickelson finished in 39 position in the LIV Golf standings with a score of 17.
