Tiger Woods headlines the Genesis Invitational field

Like last week’s WM Phoenix Open, the Genesis Invitational also features a star-studded field. The event’s 134-player field will have 23 of the world's top 25 golfers going up against each other.

However, it is Tiger Woods who stands out as the star on the pitch. Fans will be keen to see the legendary golfer in action, as he will be making his first appearance on the PGA Tour after the 150th Open at St. Andrews.

Apart from Woods, the event will have world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, No. 2 Rory McIlroy, and No. 3 Jon Rahm competing for the top prize.

The golfers will join the likes of past champions Max Homa, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Hideki Matsuyama, Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, Will Zalatoris, and Sungjae Im, who will also be on the field.

Meanwhile, defending champion Joaquin Niemann will remain absent from the field as he joined LIV Golf last year.
