When will Rory McIlroy tee off on Thursday at the 2024 RBC Heritage? Round 1 tee time and pairing explored

Rory McIlroy had a moderate Masters outing last week. The World No. 2 golfer finished T22 at Augusta as his closest rival Scottie Scheffler won the Green Jacket a second time. McIlroy is now at the Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for the 2024 RBC Heritage.

The Northern Irishman is among 42 of the top-50 OWGR-ranked players on the signature event’s field. He will go against a stacked field for the $3.6 million winner’s paycheck.

McIlroy tees up at the RBC Heritage on Thursday, April 18, at 1:40 pm ET. The 34-year-old joins Ludvig Aberg on the first tee. He will join Jordan Spieth on the first tee. He will follow the pairing of Nick Taylor and Matt Fitzpatrick.

Coming off a forgettable finish at the Masters, Rory McIlroy will be eyeing a comeback this weekend. Notably, the PGA Tour star is one of the favorites to win the RBC Heritage.

According to SportsLine, the ace golfer comes into the Harbour Links weekend with 11-1 odds. He is only bested by Scottie Scheffler (18-5) and Xander Schauffele (10-1) on the list.

For the unversed, McIlroy had finished solo third at the Valero Texas Open just days ahead of the Masters. It will be interesting to see if he brings back the form this weekend in South Carolina.
