The 2024 Presidents Cup is underway, and this year's edition of the biennial tournament is taking place at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada. Established in 1873, the Royal Montreal Golf Club is the oldest golf club in North America.
This iconic golf club has three world-class golf courses situated over 600 acres. The Royal Montreal Golf Club has two 18-hole layouts. One is named the Red Course and the other is called the Blue Course. It has also a 9-hole layout named the Dixie Course.
The 2024 Presidents Cup is taking place on the Blue Course, a par-70 playing to 7,259 yards. It's not the first time the Blue Course has been tasked with the responsibility of hosting the Presidents Cup. The 2007 edition of the tournament was also played on the same course.
In 2007, Team USA, captained by Jack Nicklaus, beat the International Team captained by South African golf legend Gary Player. The 2007 Presidents Cup also witnessed world-class players like Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Mike Weir, and Vijay Singh, to name a few.
