There are four Major championships in men's golf and five in women's. There are nine total tournaments where the most is at stake for everyone involved, and they mostly all cycle through different venues each year. Here's where the 2025 tournaments will be held.
Venue for all Major championships in golf in 2025
The Masters
The Masters is the one Major that doesn't change locations. It has always been at Augusta National, and it's not going to change anytime soon. Scottie Scheffler's second green jacket in 2024 was earned there, and he'll defend his title in 2025 at the same place.
There was a hurricane that came through last fall that did serious damage to the southeastern United States, and Augusta was hit pretty hard. There was reportedly significant work needed to get it ready for 2025, but the course should be fine by April.

PGA Championship
The PGA Championship does not stay the same. It was held at Valhalla Golf Course in Kentucky. Xander Schauffele took the crown in a tense standoff with Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland.
In 2025, the PGA is going to shift to Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is usually the home of the Wells Fargo Championship and it was in 2024. In 2025, it will get the rare chance to host a Major.
US Open
The US Open in 2024, which saw Bryson DeChambeau outduel Rory McIlroy in epic fashion, was held at Pinehurst in North Carolina. This is where several iconic tournaments have been held and is heralded as one of the toughest courses in golf.
In 2025, the tournament will shift to Oakmont Golf Course in Pennsylvania. It hosted the 2021 US Amateur and the 2016 US Open, its ninth time hosting this Major championship. 2025 will be the 10th.
The Open
The Open, or the British Open, was held at Royal Troon last year. Xander Schauffele battled the conditions and his fellow golfers to earn the second of his two Major championships.
In 2025, it will move to Royal Portrush. This tournament is in Northern Ireland, the home of Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy. This was the venue for the very first Open Championship.
The Chevron Championship
The Chevron will be held at the Club at Carlton Woods in 2025. This is the same venue it was at in 2024. It spent 50 years in Rancho Mirage, California before moving to the Club in 2023.
US Women's Open
The 2025 US Women's Open is going to be at Erin Hills. The previous iteration of the tournament was held at Lancaster Country Club in Pennsylvania. This tournament changes locations yearly.
KMPG Women's PGA Championship
In 2024, the Women's PGA Championship was played at Sahalee Country Club in Washington. Amy Yang was victorious. She will defend her crown in 2025 at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco.
Evian Championship
The Evian Championship will be played at the Evian Resort. This is where the previous Major championships have been held, too.
AIG Women's Open
Finally, the AIG Women's Open will be played at Royal Porthcawl. In 2024, the last of all Major championships was played at St. Andrews, also known as the home of golf.
