Which golfers made the cut at the 2024 Dana Open? Exploring the Day 2 leaderboard

A total of 80 golfers made the cut at the 2024 Dana Open. Things are currently heating up in the LPGA tournament, which is being played at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.

Channettee Wannasaen of Thailand is on the top of the leaderboard after the second round of the 39th Dana Open, with an overall score of -11. Defending Champion Linn Grant and three-time LPGA Tour winner Xiyu Lin currently sit in joint second place.

Golfers T65 and above made the cut for the 39th Dana Open, with the cutline standing an even par for the weekend. Some big names failed to make the cut for the event, including Linnea Strom and 2005 winner Heather Bowie Young.

Reflecting on her second-round performance, Wannasen said (via LPGA):

"Today, I think on the front nine, I play not good either, but it's like birdie and then bogey and then par, par, and then birdie again. I think today is just like 4-under par for the day is enough. On the back nine, I played really good. The putter was really good on the back nine."

Linn Grant played an aggressive game during the second round of Dana Open. Speaking about her performance at the end of the second day, Grant said via the LPGA Tour:

"I tried to play very aggressive. I felt after yesterday that I really had some good game going and hit some great shots. I felt like I could go out and be aggressive. Some holes that didn't pay off, but that's golf."

Hye-Jin Choi, who was leading after the first round, carded a 71 in the second round and slipped to second. Aditi Ashok, who was tied insecond after 18 holes, carded 72 and slipped to 13th in the second round of Dana Open.
