Who is caddying for Caitlin Clark at the 2024 Annika LPGA Tournament? Know about the special guest caddie (Imagn)

Caitlin Clark is set to play in the 2024 Annika LPGA Tournament as a celebrity player alongside several other stars. She is paired with golfing legend Annika Sorenstam, who will be her pro partner. The two will have celebrity caddies as well to make for a star-studded group to watch when they compete today in the event.

Golf reporter Josh A. Carpenter revealed that two Indy Car drivers, Colton Herta and Marcus Ericsson, will serve as caddies for the golfer and basketball player. Fittingly, both Herta and Ericsson are sponsored by Gainbridge, which also sponsors the tournament.

Clark is currently in the midst of the WNBA offseason and has been working on her golf skills in the meantime. She played with Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull and has worked with Martha Foyer-Faulconer, a former golfer who played on the LPGA from 1987 to 1995. Foyer-Faulconer coached the 22-year-old to improve her drives and short game.

Caitlin Clark confirms pro aspirations were a joke

Caitlin Clark said after her season ended that she was aiming to go pro in golf next. While she has taken her foray into the sport very seriously, she revealed, ahead of her appearance in the LPGA Tour's Annika pro-am, that her pro aspiration was not serious.

Clark said via ESPN:

"You know, having my first WNBA season behind me and being here is super cool. I've tried to take as much time as I can to practice, but there is only so much hope. You just cross your fingers, pray."

Caitlin Clark went on:

"No, I've practiced a little bit and I just had the quote about becoming a professional golfer. Everybody thought I was serious. I was not serious. I love it. I love being outside and making it competitive with my friends."

Clark is currently one of the brightest stars in women's sports, especially women's basketball. She led the Indiana Fever to the playoffs in her first season after the team drafted her number one overall.
