Legendary caddie Mike 'Fluff' Cowan has been at the bag of ace golfers for decades. In almost 48 years of an illustrious career, he has worked with Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, and Peter Jacobsen, among others.

He was recently asked by the PGA Tour Champions' social media page how long he intended to go, and 'Fluff,' as he is lovingly called, had an interesting answer.

"How do I know? The timetable that I would set is, my daughter has one more year of college. And when that's said and done, that might be saying said and done. But who knows? I might try to go until I am 85, just for grins,"

His daughter Bobbie is currently studying financial management at Clemson University. Cowan and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Rockville, Maryland.

Mike 'Fluff' Cowan started his caddying career with Ed Sabo in 1976. He worked with the golfer for two years before joining Peter Jacobsen.

His partnership with the Fred Meyer Challenge winner was one of the longest of his career, spanning just under two decades. Cowan really came to international prominence with his three-year association with then-upcoming star Tiger Woods. He was on Woods's bag when he bagged his first Masters in 1997 at the age of 21.

After the two parted ways for ambiguous reasons, Cowan began the longest collaboration of his career with Jim Furyk. The duo won the 2003 US Open, the 2010 Tour Championship, and the 2021 US Senior Open together. The US golfer even reached a career-high of World No. 2 in 2006. Currently, the 76-year-old caddie is working with C.T. Pan.

Cowan was asked what still "drives" him in a video segment for the PGA Tour Champions' social media page. He had two reasons to still keep going.

"I suppose the biggest thing that keeps me going is the love of the game. I love being whatever part of it that I am. I love watching the best players in the world play. And I would say those two things are what keeps me going the most,"

The veteran caddie had the most hilarious finishing line to close the video, saying:

"Plus I am trying to make a living,"

Mike 'Fluff' Cowan is undoubtedly one of the most decorated caddies in the circuit right now. He has helped golfers win several PGA Tour and Major championship titles over the span of their long associations with him.
