The second round of the 2024 Aramco Team Series Shenzhen was played on Saturday, October 5, on the World Cup course at Mision Hills Golf Club. The team competition was completed during the day, while the individual competition will be decided in the third and final round.

Celine Boutier and defending champion Xiyu Lin lead the Aramco Team Series Shenzhen with a score of 12 under. The team competition was won by the quartet led by Ladies European Tour (LET) sensation Chiara Tamburlini.

The Aramco Team Series tournaments consist of an individual and a team event played concurrently. The former is played over 36 holes and the latter over 54 holes, with a cut after the second round.

Each team consists of four players, with the captain being seeded. The captain selects one professional player, while another is chosen randomly through a draw. Additionally, each team is paired with an amateur player to compete alongside the professionals.

Defending Aramco Team Series Shenzhen champion Xiyu Lin carded a six-under 67 with seven birdies and one bogey in the second round to share the lead with Celine Boutier. The Frenchwoman, meanwhile, carded a bogey-free round of five birdies (5-under 68).

In the team competition, Team Tamburlini won the Aramco Team Series Shenzhen with a score of 37 under, just one stroke ahead of Team Boutier. Chiara Tamburlini led her colleagues Lee-Anne Pace and Qianhui Lin, as well as amateur Yanxuan Peng.

It is Tamburlini's third Ladies European Tour victory of the year, having also won the 2024 Ladies Joburg Open and the 2024 Ladies Open de France. The Swiss player is in her rookie year on the circuit and already leads the Order of Merit by nearly 400 points.
