Who is leading the 2024 Zozo Championship after round 1? Leaderboard explored

The 2024 Zozo Championship concluded with its first round on Thursday, October 24, in Japan. The fall season PGA Tour event has kicked off with Taylor Moore taking the lead after the first round. He shot an impressive round of 7-under 73.

The American golfer teed it up on the tenth hole, making par first up. He then shot a birdie on the 11th, adding another on the 15th. He shot an eagle on the 18th. Moore then shot four birdies and one bogey on the back nine, for a total of 7-under, taking a one-stroke lead after the first round.

Max Greyserman, Nico Echavarria, and Eric Cole, all shot 6-under and finished in a three-way tie for second place. They are followed by C.T. Pan tied for fifth with Kevin Yu.

Defending champion Collin Morikawa shot a round of 1-under and is tied for 35th place. He shot three birdies, a bogey, and a double bogey for 69. Meanwhile, Justin Thomas is in a tie for seventh place with K.H. Lee, Ryosuke Kinoshita, Taisei Shimizu, Beau Hossler, Jhonattan Vegas, Shugo Imahira, and Zac Blair.
