Who fell out of the LIV Golf Promotions after the second round?

Several interesting players were left out of the LIV Golf Promotions and lost the opportunity to play in the breakaway league next season. Among them are Hudson Swafford and Kalle Samooja, who were relegated at the end of the 2024 season.

Also noteworthy is John Catlin, who played as a reserve in LIV Golf in 2024 with good results. Catlin was also one of the best players on the Asian Tour last season, leading the International Series for most of the year.

Another surprise among those who missed the cut is Fred Biondi, a player with an exceptional amateur golf career. Biondi began his professional career in 2023 after winning the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Championship and finishing second in the PGA Tour University Program.

Another rising star who missed the cut in Riyadh was Luis Masaveu. The Spaniard is also just beginning his professional career after reaching the semifinals of the US Open Amateur and made the cut as an amateur at The Open Championship.
