Mariel Galdiano turned professional in 2020 and following that, she played on the ANNIKA Women’s All-Pro Tour for two seasons and the Epson Tour for two years. In 2025, she will make her LPGA Tour debut as a rookie.

Galdiano was also the youngest golfer at the 2011 US Women's Open at the age of 13. Following that, she appeared at the 2015 US Women's Open and made it through the cutline. In the same year, she also won the 2015 Canadian Women's Amateur.

She also won the 2013 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship, 2015 Canadian Women's Amateur, and 2017 Summer Universiade- individual gold medal.

After getting the chance to play on the LPGA Tour, Galdiano expressed her feelings (via LPGA.com). She said:

“It’s a long time coming, but it was so worth it. I feel like everything happened for a reason for me to get to this point," Mariel Galdiano said.

At the final qualifying of the LPGA Tour, she shot six straight under-par rounds to score 11-under. Following the week, she expressed her thoughts on how relieved she was finally. She said (via LPGA):

“I could finally breathe. I felt like, on the back nine, things were pretty intense just because it was the final stretch. I could finally relax…I think everyone in my group qualified, so we were all really happy at the end, just congratulating each other because it was tough.”

After accomplishing her dream, Galdiano also shared how she started playing golf and that she felt lucky to make her wish true.

"It definitely reminds me of when I was learning, and I think that’s super important to think back to when things get tough… When you’re out on Tour and questioning, ‘Why am I doing this? I don’t know anymore,’ you think about doing this for the seven or eight-year-old version of me who was looking up to Michelle Wie at the time,” Galdiano said.

Mariel Galdiano finished T13 at the LPGA qualifying tournament.
