On Sunday, October 27, Nico Echavarria claimed his second title on the PGA Tour after posting a one-shot win at the Zozo Championship. He fired a 3-under 67 in the final round to finish at 20-under, beating Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman by one stroke.

When Echavarria secured a win in his second straight season, he was accompanied by his girlfriend, Claudia De Antonio, to celebrate his success. She was also present when the Colombian golfer won his first title last year at the Puerto Rico Open.

Claudia De Antonio and Nico Echavarria have been together for quite a long time now. Claudia was born on December 9, 1995, to José and Ana De Antonio in Caracas, Venezuela.

Similar to her partner, Claudia has been an athlete since childhood. She was part of the swim team and also developed a passion for golf while growing up. She was on the girls' team at American Heritage School from 2010 to 2014. She played collegiate golf at Louisiana State University, where she averaged 74.38 in her senior year.

Claudia De Antonio earned a Master's in Business Management and Leadership from the University of Miami, where she continued playing golf. Besides playing golf, she also assisted at the Junior Golf Camp in Weston Hills Country Club, where she taught students between five and twelve years old the basics of golf.

Claudia also worked as a Marketing Specialist at UPS and later became a Golf Marketing Coordinator at Perry Ellis International after completing her Master's. Last year, she co-founded Papaya y Piña, a golf apparel brand for young girls.

"We're going to try to eat more steak"- Nico Echavarria on celebrating Zozo Championship win with his girlfriend Claudia

During the winner's press conference, Nico Echavarria revealed his plans to celebrate the Zozo Championship victory with his girlfriend, Claudia.

"We're going to try to eat more steak," he said. "We ate steak on Wednesday and it was the best steak I've ever had, so I think we deserve to go one more time before we leave Japan."

For the Zozo Championship win, the 30-year-old Colombian golfer received 500 FedExCup points and moved to 65th in the FedEx Cup standings. In addition to the $1,530,000 paycheck, he also earned exemptions for the Sentry, the Players Championship, the Masters, and the PGA Championship next year.
