There are a few ways to qualify for the Evian Championship. It's a Major, so it always has a large field with golfers there based on a variety of criteria.

• Previous Evian Championship winners
• Major winners from the last five years
• Top 50 as per the World Rolex Rankings
• LPGA Tour winners from every LPGA Tour event in the year prior to the Evian Championship
• Qualifying tournaments
• Top finishers from other Major tournaments
• Special invitations

Most golfers made it in based on the criteria that the Major tournament offers. There are also a few former champions like Brooke M. Henderson and Celine Boutier in the field.
