Who is playing in the 2024 LPGA AIG Women's Open? Full field for the final Major of the year explored

The 2024 AIG Women's Open is the fifth and final Major of the LPGA season. It will be held from August 22 to 25 at the renowned Old Course at St. Andrews.

The first four Majors of the year have had different winners, and the door is wide open going into this weekend. Nelly Korda, Yuka Saso, Amy Yang, and Ayaka Furue are the 2024 Major winners so far, and all of them will be looking for an opportunity to bag another Major victory this year. Lilia Vu is the defending champion at the AIG Women's Open.

The tournament will also have one of the biggest prize purses of the season, $9 million. Lauren Coughlin, the winner of the 2024 ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open is also in the field. The three Paris Olympics medalists, Lydia Ko, Esther Henseleit, and Xiyu Lin are also playing at the AIG Women's Open this weekend.

This will be the third time in the history of the AIG Women's Open that the tournament will be played at St. Andrews.
