The American Century Championship 2024 is set to be held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada from July 12 to 14. The tournament is a 54-hole competition and will see a field of 89 athletes and celebrities tee it up for a prize purse of $600,000.
The tournament follows a modified Stableford scoring system where points are awarded on every hole and not total strokes relative to par. The points system is as follows.
- 10 points for an albatross (3 under par)
- 8 points for a hole-in-one
- 6 points for an eagle (2 under par)
- 3 points for a birdie (1 under par)
- 1 point for a par (even)
- 0 points for a bogey (1 over par)
- -2 points for a double bogey or worse (2 over par or more)
Former tennis player Mardy Fish will headline the playing field at the American Century Championship 2024. Fish won the tournament in 2020 by 8 points over Kyle Williams. Football Quarterback Tony Romo is another favorite who has won the tournament thrice in the years, 2018, 2019, and 2022.
Defending Champion Stephen Curry isn't on the field due to the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. The other players with the best odds at American Century Championship 2024 are as follows:
