The DP World Tour will be in Dubai this week for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic 2025. The first Rolex Series event of the year will take place from January 16 to 19 at the iconic Emirates Golf Club.

Since the Hero Dubai Desert Classic 2025 is a Rolex Series event, it will feature many top players from the European Tour. Further, several PGA Tour professionals will also be in action this week.

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic field features Viktor Hovland, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre, Nicolai Højgaard, and defending champion Rory McIlroy. This will be McIlroy's first event of the season. Two-time PGA Tour winner Akshay Bhatia is also making his tournament debut this week.

The Emirates Golf Club field will also feature LIV Golf professionals like Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton and Patrick Reed. Hatton and Rahm will be looking to gain points ahead of the Ryder Cup selection later this year.
