The 2024 ISCO Championship, co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, is set to begin on Thursday, July 11, at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The 30th tournament of the 2024 PGA Tour schedule will have 144 players competing for the $4,000,000 prize purse.
The ISCO Championship will be headlined by Neal Shipley and Daniel Berger, among others. 20-year-old amateur star Luke Clanton, who finished T2 at last week’s John Deere Classic, will be on the event’s field. PGA Tour regulars like Cameron Champ, J.J. Spaun and Justin Suh will also be competing in the competition.
ISCO Championship reigning champion Vincent Norrman will not return this weekend to defend his title. Notably, the tournament had Monday qualifiers. Spencer Cross, Matt Sharpsten, Kyle Reifers, and David Bradshaw are the four who entered the event via the qualifiers.
Apart from the paychecks, the winning golfer will also bag valuable ranking points.
Notably, the ISCO Championship, formerly the Barbasol Championship, is being played parallel to the Genesis Scottish Open. The Kentucky event takes a backfoot this weekend as several big names like Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele have decided to compete at the National Open ahead of The Open Championship.
