Jhonattan Vegas shot four birdies and three bogeys in the fourth round of the 3M Open to card a 1-under round, which was enough to hold onto his lead from the previous round and win the tournament. The Venezuelan's win was his fourth on the PGA Tour.
This is a welcome victory for Vegas as his last victory on the American circuit came way back in 2017, at the RBC Canadian Open.
Runner-up Max Greyserman played the final round with eight birdies and no bogeys for an extraordinary 63. However, he came up one shot shy of forcing a playoff with Jonathan Vegas.
Pre-tournament favorite and top-ranked player Sahith Theegala concluded the event tied for sixth place at 13-under par. Tony Finau shared the 12th place at 11-under par with multiple players, including Sam Burns.
