The final round of the 2024 AIG Women's Open provided one of the toughest golf tests of the season, with extreme weather conditions on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Despite this, the final day's play was extremely competitive, with five players finishing in the top two.
LPGA Hall of Famer and newly crowned Olympic champion Lydia Ko won the 2024 AIG Women's Open at 7-under.
The Kiwi finished two strokes ahead of four other major champions, Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Ruoning Yin, and Jiyai Shin. Ko became the first woman from New Zealand to win the AIG Women's Open.

Lydia Ko shot a final-round 3-under 69 to win the AIG Women's Open. Her performance included three birdies and one bogey. It was the third major championship for Ko, who had not won a tournament in this category since 2016 (Chevron Championship). She had won the Evian Championship the year before.
Nelly Korda was leading the AIG Women's Open, but a double bogey on the 14th put her back on the leaderboard. Lilia Vu was one putt away from forcing a playoff on the 18th hole, but could not make it and dropped from solo second to T2.
Lottie Woad, the world's number one amateur and reigning Augusta National Women's Amateur champion, tied for 10th to win the low amateur of the AIG Women's Open.
