Who won the 2024 Ascension Charity Classic? Final leaderboard explored

Y.E. Yang won the 2024 Ascension Charity Classic after defeating Bernhard Langer in a playoff. After the four rounds of the PGA Tour Champions event, the South Korean golfer tied for first place with Langer and headed for a playoff to final determine the winner of the competition.

Y.E. Yang shot a birdie on the 18th hole of the playoff to win his first PGA Tour Champions event in his 72nd start. He previously finished runner-up in the competition back in 2022.

Yang started his game with a round of 65 on the first day and then shot 69 in the second round and took the lead in the game. He then shot 66 with four birdies, an eagle, and a bogey to score 5-under in the finale to finish with a total of under 13 and seize the top position on the leaderboard.

Bernard Lanegr settled in solo second place, followed by Stewart Cink, who finished in third place, and Shane Bertsch tied with Justin Leonard for fourth place.
