Byeong Hun An has won the 2024 Genesis Championship after defeating Tom Kim in a playoff. The DP World Tour event concluded with its final on Sunday, October 27, in South Korea.

After the four scheduled rounds, South Korean golfers Tom Kim and Byeong Hun An tied for the lead in their home event. Both settled at a score of 17-under. Kim and Hun then competed in a playoff to determine the winner. The playoff on the 18th hole saw Hun making a birdie while Kim scored a bogey. Thus, Byeong Hun An won the tournament, securing his second win on the European Tour.

Byeong Hun An started his campaign at the DP World Tour event with a round of 67. He also had an impressive second round, carding 66. However, after two good rounds, he struggled in the third round and shot 71 but managed to finish in the lead alongside Tom Kim. He shot 67 in the final round.

Behind Tom Kim in second, Ricardo Gouveia and Antoine Rozner finished in third and fourth place, respectively. Casey Jarvis tied for sixth place with Francesco Laporta and Ivan Cantero.
