Ernie Els fired a 2-under in the final round to win the 2024 Kaulig Companies Championship, his first-ever Senior Major Championship. He finished at 10-under, beating Y.E. Yang by one stroke.

On Sunday, July 14, Els entered the final round of the 2024 Kaulig Companies Championship at 8-under, one stroke behind reigning champion Steve Stricker. He started with three birdies on the front nine but bogeyed the 10th. Els then picked up another birdie on the 14th before bogeying the 16th, his second of the day.

Stricker dropped three spots after shooting 3-over 73 in the final round of the 2024 Kaulig Companies Championship. He began with a birdie and had a clean card until the par 4 ninth, where he bogeyed for the first time that round.

Stricker recovered with a birdie two holes later, but things went downhill since. He bogeyed the 13th and carded a 7 on the 14th hole. He managed a birdie on the next hole but finished with another bogey on the 72nd hole.

Jerry Kelly finished third at 7-under in the 2024 Kaulig Companies Championship, while K.J. Choi tied with Stricker for T4. Kenny Perry secured a solo sixth-place finish, and Mike Weir, Steven Alker, Michael Wright, and Robert Karlsson all tied for seventh at 3-under.
