Who won the 2024 Maybank Championship? Final leaderboard explored

Ruoning Yin has won the 2024 Maybank Championship. On Sunday, October 27, the Chinese golfer registered a one-stroke victory over Jeeno Thitikul. She played a final round of 65 to finish with a total of 23-under.

The 2024 Maybank Championship started with its first round on Thursday, October 24, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and concluded on Sunday. Yin started off her campaign with a round of 67. She played two back-to-back rounds of 67, followed by a third round of 66. She shot 65 in the fourth round.

This is Yin's second win in her last three starts. She won the Buick LPGA Shanghai and then finished T14 at the BMW Ladies Championship. The Chinese golfer has enjoyed an incredible 2024 season on the LPGA Tour. She played in 18 tournaments, registering three wins so far.

Thitikul secured the second spot at the Maybank Championship, followed by Haeran Ryu taking the third spot on the leaderboard. Maja Stark settled in a two-way tie with Bailey Tardy for fourth place.
