Who won a LIV Golf contract at the Promotions event? Final results explored

The final round of the 2024 LIV Golf Promotions took place this Saturday, December 14th at Riyadh Golf Club. The day was played over 36 holes and the winner won a LIV Golf contract for the 2025 season.

Lee Chieh-po won the LIV Golf Promotions and will be playing on the LIV Golf League in 2025. In the coming weeks, Lee will join one of the LIV teams that have openings on their rosters.

Lee Chieh-po led after the first 18 holes with a score of 7-under, thanks to nine birdies and two bogeys. The Taiwanese golfer managed to maintain his position over the second 18 holes, carding five birdies and two bogeys.

Following his victory at the Promotions event, Lee said (via ASAP Sports):

"I played very good this year, and coming into this event I just do my best. Actually last week I didn't play very well, but I just told myself, stay calm, stay focused, and focus on every shot. I think I'm very lucky today."

Lee Chieh-po will be the first Taiwanese player to play in the breakaway league. He started playing professionally on the Asian Tour, where he has played ever since. In 2024, he won his first tour event, the International Series Thailand.

Players who finish in the top 10 at the Promotions event will qualify directly for the Asian Tour International Series in 2025.

Lee Chieh-po has yet to make his debut on the PGA Tour or in a major championship.
