The 2024 Olympics men's golf event is all set to start in less than 24 hours, with the first round teeing off on Thursday, August 1, at Le Golf National in Paris, France. The Olympic golf event will feature 60 players from 27 different countries competing for the gold medal.

David Puig of Spain is the youngest competitor at the 2024 Olympics. At 21 years and 11 months old, he is one of seven LIV Golf professionals competing at Le Golf National. He is almost half the age of Camillo Villegas of Colombia, the oldest player in the field.

Tom Kim (Republic of Korea), Nicolai Højgaard (Denmark), and Keita Nakajima (Japan) are the other post-2000-born golfers on the 2024 Olympics field.

Speaking of the older golfers, Villegas is 42 years and 6 months old and is one of the three golfers in their 40s playing this week. Alex Noren of Sweden and Fabrizio Zanotti of Paraguay are the other two golfers in their 40s in action at the Olympics.
