Spaniard Eugenio Chacarra's stint with LIV Golf came to an end on Friday, January 10, when his contract wasn't renewed by the Fireballs GC. He was replaced by fellow countryman Luis Masaveu to complete Sergio Garcia's team's roster for the 2025 season.

Chacarra finished 32nd in the LIV Golf 2024 season's individual standings and dropped into the open zone. He had just one top-10 finish last season, with a T10 finish at Singapore being his best result of the year.

Chacarra signed with LIV Golf in 2022 and was among the youngest to join the Saudi-backed circuit. He had a strong start to his new chapter and registered his first win at the LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok, his fifth start. However, he failed to replicate that performance and couldn't secure another title over the next two years. The closest he came to winning was at LIV Golf Tulsa 2023, where he tied for fifth.

Over the last two seasons, Eugenio Chacarra managed just two top-10 finishes in 27 appearances and ended up 28th and 32nd in the standings in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
