Why were some golfers’ names ‘erased’ from the TV graphics on the WGC Match Play winner’s list?

The PGA Tour has received widespread backlash on social media after erasing the names of LIV golfers who have won Match Play in the past. The Golf Channel wiped out the names of the LIV players from their past championship winners list graphics during the live broadcast of the 2023 WGC Dell Technologies Match Play on Saturday, March 25.The list showed the names of all the winners from the past except LIV renegades Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson. Apparently, the familiar list included the names of the winners from 2011-2022, only missing Johnson and Watson, who won the event in 2017 and 2018 respectively.Golf Lover UK@GolfloverUKHow pathetic is this?
