Tiger Woods' long-term girlfriend Erica Herman filed a case in court to nullify the NDA that was made to be signed by her at the start of their relationship in 2017.
The reported ex-girlfriend of Woods claimed that the agreement was used against her and that she is now ready to share her experiences of being in a relationship with him. She asked the court to prohibit the NDA when there's evidence of sexual abuse. She also claimed that it is now being wrongly enforced on her.
The report was shared by TMZ on Wednesday on their social media page, where fans jumped into the comments section asking if the incident would be included in Full Swing Season 2.
For the uninitiated, Full Swing is a Netflix golf docuseries that features the personal lives of top golfers around the globe. Tiger Woods was not part of the initial season of the series and will probably be part of the second season. Fans wrote:
"Will this be on full swing season 2?"
while others wrote:
"Tiger has had a bunch of off the course issues ever since the blow up with his ex-wife. However, never (that I know of) accused of sexual assault. So, this is much different from before. Hopefully she isn’t accusing him of something that’s not true just for fame or money."
"When the money and gifts stop flowing, they have to find a way to turn the tap back on. The guy's not perfect, but after Elin, he had to get agreements like this signed. That past history will never leave him, and an 'ex' would certainly prey on that. Ka Ching, here we go."
Tiger Woods and Erica Herman's relationship timeline
Tiger Woods and Erica Herman met while she was working for his restaurant in Jupiter. The couple first came into the picture at the 2017 Presidents Cup, where Woods was playing as the captain of the USA Team. Herman was seen wearing a badge reserved for the golfers' wives and girlfriends.
However, the couple has kept their relationship under the radar over the years. They remained very private about their personal lives and were only seen together while Tiger Woods was competing in tournaments.
They previously attended the 2022 US Open together, supporting Serena Williams.
Erica Herman is not active on social media and she has only appeared in three of Tiger Woods' Instagram posts since they were committed.
Before the lawsuit, there was no clue about the two splitting up and they had also not confirmed it had happened.
Woods and Herman have been tight-lipped about their breakup rumors. However, she did not attend the Genesis Invitational this year. Moreover, they have hardly been spotted together in the last few months.
Herman is believed to be a catalyst for Tiger Woods' return to the golf course after his near-death accident in 2021. Woods was involved in a fatal car accident in February 2021 and could have lost a leg. But his hard work and passion for golf allowed him to compete again.
