Harris English looks forward to a strong comeback on the PGA Tour at this week's Farmers Insurance Open 2025. The American golfer took the lead in the ongoing PGA Tour event and topped the leaderboard after three rounds, teeing off for the final round one stroke ahead of Andrew Novak. He is in contention to win his first tournament on the PGA Tour since 2021.
Following the third round of the tournament on Friday, January 24, Harris English reflected on his game and said it was difficult to win on the PGA Tour but was looking forward to the final round. Speaking of his game at the Farmers Insurance Open, English said (via Tee Script):
"I feel like I had a pretty good year last year, I finished I think 57th on the FedExCup, which could have had some better finishes but I played decent. It's been really close. I feel like I worked really hard this offseason and it's nice to kind of see it starting to take shape and see it in tournament rounds."
"Winning on the PGA TOUR's hard. Winning in a place like this will be massive. It's one of my favorite places. And the list of winners here is pretty incredible, so I love being in the mix and looking forward to tomorrow," he added.
Harris English played a fabulous third round of 66 at the ongoing Farmers Insurance Open and jumped five spots on the leaderboard. He took the lead at 9-under.
