The 2024 Women’s Olympic golf event will tee off on Wednesday, August 7 at the Le Golf National near Paris. The opening round of the competition will begin at 3:00 am ET with local French golfer Perrine Delacour, Ireland’s Stephanie Meadow and Belgian Manon de Roey on the first tee.
The Women’s Olympic golf field features 60 women golfers qualifying from 33 countries. It’ll be headlined by World No.1 and defending champion Nelly Korda playing alongside Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang on Team USA. Australia’s Hannah Green and Minjee Lee, Canada’s Brooke Henderson and China’s Ruoning Yin are among other notables on the field.
Round 1 of the 2024 Women’s Olympic golf at Le Golf National will air live on TV and online throughout the week. The Golf Channel will carry first-round TV coverage of the event and featured groups for the overage include the pairing of Nelly Korda, Ruoning Yin and Jin Young Ko, teeing up at 3:55 am ET.
Lilia Vu’s pairing with Celine Boutier and Amy Yang will also be featured. They’ll hit the first tee at 5:55 am. Hannah Green, Charley Hull teeing up with Rose Zhang at 3:44 am, and Lydia Ko, Miyu Yamashita and Maja Stark, teeing up at 6:06 am, will also be featured on TV.
Hyo Joo Kim, Xiyu Janet Lin and Brooke Henderson at 4:11 am, and Yuka Saso, Minjee Lee and Atthaya Thitikul teeing up at 5:44 am ET are the other two groups featured on Wednesday.
