World No. 2 amateur golfer receives special invitation to play in PGA Tour Signature Event

World no. 2 amateur golfer, Jackson Koivun has been invited to play at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this year. The 19-year-old has received exemption to play at the PGA Tour Signature event after being a part of the Arnold Palmer Cup winning US team.

Koivun is currently a freshman at the Auburn University. He is coming off an incredible collegiate golf record, having won the SEC Championship and being a runner-up at the NCAA Division 1 Men's Individual Championship. The 'War Eagle' also became the first player ever to win all the major collegiate awards in the same season.

The young golfer made his PGA Tour debut at the 2024 Memorial Tournament after winning the Jack Nicklaus award.

Koivun will be seen competing at Bay Hill, Orlando at the Arnold Palmer Invitational from March 3rd to 9th, 2025. It is a signature PGA Tour event.
