Xander Schauffele has been competing in the Farmers Insurance Open for nine straight years and will be missing the event for the first time since 2016. However, he is yet to win this event as his best finish came in 2021, as he registered a T2 finish while Patrick Reed won the event.

Along with the Farmers Insurance Open, Schauffele will also miss the next TGL event. He is part of the New York Golf Club, which is taking on Atlanta Drive GC on Tuesday (Jan. 21).
