"You hate to see it lol" - Paige Spiranac reacts to her odds for the upcoming Creator Classic

Paige Spiranac is gearing up for the upcoming 2024 Creator Classic. The tournament will be held on Wednesday, August 28 at 4 p.m. ET at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.

The format of the tournament is eight holes of gross stroke play between sixteen creators, followed by a playoff between the top four finishers. The tournament will be held a day before the Tour Championship on the back nine of the newly restored East Lake course.

Recently, BetCarolina.com on its X profile posted odds of the Creator Classic. It gave Spiranac the lowest odds among 16 creators. Her odds to win the tournament are +12500 and her winning percent chances are 0.8%.

Spiranac, who hails from Monument, Colorado, has a large social media following. She has 426k subscribers on YouTube, 4 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million followers on TikTok.

Spiranac won five junior golf tournaments by 2010 and quickly became a top-20 world junior player. She subsequently received a golf scholarship from the University of Arizona where she played in her freshman year. She switched to San Diego State University in her sophomore year and won its Aztecs golf team's first Mountain West Conference Championship in her final year.

Paige Spiranac turned professional in 2015 and debuted in 2016 on the Cactus Tour. She had several top-10 finishes including a win and ended the season 11th on the money list. However, she failed to earn an LPGA Tour card to play professionally. Since then, she has become one of the most popular golf influencers.

Paige Spiranac jokes that she will add excitement to the Creator Classic with double bogeys

16 creators will be playing at the 2024 Creator Classic. When the PGA Tour announced the field for the event, golf influencer Barstool Trent lamented that the tournament might be too predictable. He posted on X and said:

"*Holding a bushel of sour grapes* The Creator Classic being a bunch of people who are gonna make pars and birdies and maybe bogeys isn’t MY internet"

In reply to the tweet, Paige Spiranac joked that she will add excitement to the tournament by adding double bogeys into the mix. She said:

"Don’t worry I’ll hold it down for you boys and make some doubles. I’m always good for a nasty snap hook off the first"
