YouTube golf star Grant Horvat sends special message after scaling major influencer milestone

Grant Horvat is a rising golf influencer. He has recently hit a landmark milestone of one million subscribers on YouTube.

Horvat posted a video of him watching his subscriber count hit 1M in real time with his family and friends on his social media account. He thanked his fans and captioned the video with a heartfelt comment saying:

"Thank you. 1 Million"

Sporting a white shirt and matching cap, Horvat seemed emotional after hitting the milestone. He hugged his loved ones soon after hitting 1 million subscribers.

The young golf YouTuber recently signed a new deal with the upcoming golf equipment brand, Takomo Golf, and stocks were granted to him as a part of the sponsorship deal as he became a minority shareholder. However, that hasn't affected his deal with TaylorMade.

The social media personality has collaborated with many top golfers including Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, and most recently Rory McIlroy. His video with McIlroy also served as a promotional post for TaylorMade's newly launched driver, Qi35.

When Rory McIlroy gave Grant Horvat tips on increasing speed

Grant Horvat collaborated with Rory McIlroy in a video that has already garnered 719K views on YouTube. In the video, McIlroy gave suggestions on increasing yardage using a driver.

McIlroy also gave tips on increasing speed and Horvat's swing.

"Your swing looks like you've got like a target in mind. To me when I sort of unlocked a little more speed, it was like I would swing on the range and I wouldn't care if I missed it. And I was missing the range, like literally. And then you can bring it in from there but if we're just working on speed...," McIlroy said.

Horvat chipped in the conversation adding that he was attempting to do a golf swing and the Northern Irish star quickly advised him not to do that. He instead said:

"Try and move the thing as fast as you can. That's all you are trying to do here."

The YouTuber took and tried to apply McIlroy's suggestions in his next shot. He gave himself a prep talk to hit at least 170. The tips yielded results as the 5-time Major seemed impressed with Horvat's next shot. When asked what distance the golf influencer had hit, McIlroy was told he had touched 172.

The video has acquired 1338 comments on YouTube. In the pinned comment, Horvat promised more 18-hole videos coming soon with the "best players" in the world.
