Nicolai Hojgaard ties course record set by his twin brother at Le Golf National during round 3 of the Paris Olympics

With the third round of the men's individual stroke play event at the 2024 Paris Olympics almost completed, Nicolai Hojgaard is in the final fight for the gold medal. The Denmark golfer is tied for fourth place with a score of 11 under par with Japan's Hideki Matsuyama, who is yet to finish the round.

Having made his debut appearance at the Olympics this week, the 23-year-old has proven his name in the field by setting an incredible record. Hojgaard fired an impressive nine under par 62 score for the penultimate round to tie the lowest score record at the Le Golf National course.

His twin brother, Rasmus Hojgaard, and Argentina's Eduardo Romero jointly hold the record at the club, which is located on the outskirts of Paris. The Hojgaard brothers have been making a name for themselves in European golf and continue to impress.
