Pádraig Harrington is a pro-Irish golfer born on August 31, 1971. He turned pro at the age of 24 in the year 1995. Ever since, he has been competing on the PGA, European, and PGA Tour Champions.
He has participated in numerous major tournaments including the the PGA Championship and the Open Championship. He was in the top 10 world rankings for more than 300 weeks. He was named the European Tour Golfer of the Year in 2007 and 2008 and was named the PGA Tour Player of the Year in 2008. From 1999 to 2010, Harrington was a part of six different Ryder Cup squads. He was later given the respect of being part of the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2024.
