American professional golfer Patrick Reed was born on August 5, 1990. He has won nine PGA Tour events, including two World Golf Championships, the 2020 WGC-Mexico title and the 2014 WGC-Cadillac Championship and one major title at the 2018 Masters Tournament, where he defeated Rickie Fowler by a single stroke.

In team competitions for the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, Reed has represented the United States. His Ryder Cup performances have earned him the moniker "Captain America."

His ninth professional win at the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open was over Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, Henrik Norlander and Xander Schauffele, by five strokes and a total score of 274, under 14.

His most recent major finish was at the 2023 Masters Tournament, where he finished tied for fourth place. He has finished in the top 10 in each of the four majors and has been in the world's top 50 since 2014.

He became a member of LIV Golf in 2022 and placed fourth in the Individual Champion rankings the same year. He also helped 4Aces GC win the Team Championship in 2023 with five top-5 individual finishes.

Patrick Reed’s Driver

Patrick Reed has been using models from Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, and Titleist in the past few years. He revealed in January 2022 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions that he had signed with PXG, and he later put a Gen4 0811 X driver in the bag.

Since parting ways with PXG, the former Masters champion has been seen carrying a model from Japanese club manufacturer Grindworks. It appears that this prototype design will remain in the bag for a while to come. Its shaft is an Aldila Rogue Silver 125 MSI 70 TX, and its loft is nine degrees.

Patrick Reed’s Fairway

Reed's bag includes a Callaway Rogue ST LS model with a Mitsubishi Diamana 70 TX shaft, as well as another fairway wood or a Callaway Apex Pro hybrid.

Before switching to the Titleist TS2, he had been using the Nike VR Pro Limited for quite some time. His setup also included a Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero and a TaylorMade M6 for a brief period of time.

Patrick Reed’s Irons

For a period, Reed carried a T100 three iron in his bag. But as of April 2024, according to Golf Monthly, the four irons he uses are a Callaway Apex Pro iron, while the remaining irons are the five iron, the pitching wedge, and the Grindworks PR-101As.

Reed switched at the end of 2019 and has stuck with the irons ever since, indicating that he gets along well with them. True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts are fitted to each of them.

Patrick Reed’s Wedges

Though it's obvious that Reed travels with a few extra models, he only has three wedges in his bag. As of April 2024, he carries two Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges with 57 and 61 degrees of loft, along with one 51-degree Grindworks Barrett wedge.

Patrick Reed’s Putter

Moving on from the Scotty Cameron prototype he'd been using for a while, Reed's putter is an Odyssey White Hot Pro 3. Throughout the past few years, he has maintained a fairly constant putter shape, choosing to continue with a blade rather than switching to a mallet or mid-mallet.

Patrick Reed’s Golf Ball

Reed switched from using a Srixon Z-Star XV to a Titleist Pro V1 in 2022. The Pro V1, one of the best golf balls money can buy, received a five-star rating in Golf Monthly's review because of its all-around performance, which includes remarkable long-game distance, superb control on the greens, and high levels of consistency with a soft feel.

Patrick Reed’s Footwear

Reed wears FootJoy's Premiere Tarlow shoes. The Tarlow line, which is available in two colors and is also customizable, is named after Bill and Dick Tarlow, who acquired FootJoy in 1957 and concentrated on growing the brand's golf division.
