Parking areas at Pinehurst Resort

About 70 miles southwest of Raleigh sits the Village of Pinehurst, home to Pinehurst Resort & Country Club. Two (2) sizable fan parking lots will provide free parking and shuttle service. The BLUE Lot is situated on Sand Pit Road (Aberdeen, NC), south of Pinehurst, and the RED Lot is located north of Pinehurst on NC-73 (West End, NC). Depending on where the fan vehicles are coming from, signage will lead them to the appropriate parking lot.

On Pinehurst Resort & Country Club premises or in the Pinehurst Village, ordinary spectator parking is NOT accessible. The current Village of Pinehurst ordinances and regulations will apply to all local street parking. Every other parking spot requires a permit. It is recommended that fans heading west on I-74 or US-24/27 East and fans heading north (to Raleigh) on US-1 South or US-15/501 South proceed to the RED Lot.

The complimentary shuttle service to and from Pinehurst Resort & Country Club is anticipated to take less than fifteen minutes each way.

Parking and Transportation Facilities for Fans with Disabilities

All fans with disabilities will receive a favourable and easy-to-use experience from the USGA. All parking spots will have allocated accessible parking places for vehicles with the necessary HD/DP licence plates or placards. Before the championship, fans needing transport with lifts can get specific parking instructions by contacting the USGA Championship Office.

To and from all remote championship parking lots, the USGA will offer a complimentary shuttle service with lifts. In addition, the Disability Services Committee will be present to help disabled fans get around the championship grounds in multi-person golf carts, to and from designated stops, and to accessible grandstands and facility sites.
