Bryson DeChambeau collaborated with Phil Mickelson for the exclusive Break 50 challenge

DeChambeau became quite popular among golf fans for his famous Break 50 series on YouTube. In it, the golfer and a partner attempt to finish off 18 holes in under fifty shots.

The American golfer recently collaborated with six-time Major winner Phil Mickelson for the latest episode of Break 50. During their match, DeChambeau even shared about his short putt game. He said (at 4:29):

"I try to obviously line the dimples up; everybody knows about that. Secondly, I'm very precise with my aim, and then thirdly, I try to shake it straight back and straight through. So there's not very much; you don't really think much more else. And this should be just a little bit of a right-center putt, if anything; take it straight back, straight through, roll it right in the cup."

Interestingly, the first edition of The Match, held between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, also took place at Shadow Creek Golf Course, which is the venue for The Showdown.

Notably, DeChambeau had previously competed in The Match and also won an event. He was part of the fourth edition of the made-for-TV event when he paired with Aaron Rodgers and played against Mickelson and Tom Brady, winning the tournament by 3&2.

In the fifth edition, DeChambeau faced Brooks Koepka, but this time, Koepka won the event. The Match IX was held earlier this year, featuring a mixed field consisting of Rory McIlroy, Max Homa, Rose Zhang, and Lexi Thompson. McIlroy won the tournament.
