American professional golfer Rick Yutaka Fowler, widely known as Rickie Fowler, was born on December 13, 1988, and he now competes on the PGA Tour. For 36 weeks in 2007 and 2008, he was the world's best amateur golfer. After winning the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, he rose to a career-high fourth place in the Official World Golf Ranking on January 24, 2016. He accomplished the rare feat of shooting 62 in a major championship—one of only three—at the Los Angeles Country Club during the 2023 US Open.
