Former World number one Rory McIlroy has announced that he has ended his contract with Horizon Sports Management and also said that he will be starting his own management company.
The announcement marks end to a two-year association between the player and the company. Dublin based legal team A&L Goodybody will be handling the termination from the golfer’s part.
Meanwhile, Horizon officials have expressed their disappointment in the decision since there is still a significant amount of time left in the contract.
McIlroy is all set to establish his new management company named Rory McIlroy Incorporated (RMI) which will be headed by Donal Casey, who was an advisor of the golfer.
