Professional golfer Ryan Fox hails from New Zealand and plays on the PGA Tour of Australasia as well as the European Tour.
After going professional in 2012, Fox participated in the 2012 PGA Tour of Australasia. He placed fourth twice in the New South Wales PGA Championship and the New Zealand PGA Pro-Am Championship.
In 2014, he finished second in the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship and went on to win the Western Australian Open the same year. He won the Queensland PGA Championship at the beginning of 2015, which was his second victory on the PGA Tour of Australasia.
In late May 2018, he completed another successful run of Rolex Series play, which included finishing eighth in the Italian Open, 43rd in the BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club, and qualifying for the 2018 U.S. Open the next day at Walton Heath.
In February 2019, Fox defeated Adrián Otaegui 3–2 in the final match to win the inaugural European Tour tournament at the co-sanctioned ISPS Handa World Super 6 in Perth. Danny Lee, ten years ago, was the first New Zealander to win on the European Tour.
Fox was granted a special temporary membership on the PGA Tour in May 2023. Fox won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in September 2023. He defeated Tyrrell Hatton and Aaron Rai by one stroke with a final-round 67 that included an up-and-down birdie on the last hole. It was also his first title in the Rolex Series.
