Sam Horsfield, a professional golfer from England, was born on October 8, 1996. His lack of the appropriate visa caused him to withdraw from the 2015 Walker Cup. In May 2017, Horsfield turned professional, placing second in the Tshwane Open and fourth in the Perth ISPS Handa World Super 6.
Horsfield won the Soudal Open in Belgium, the Celtic Classic in Wales, and the Hero Open in August 2020. Horsfield's career got off to a great start in 2018 as he won the Hero Open, Soudal Open, and Celtic Classic. He shot T5 at the first LIV golf tournament held at the Centurion Club in London in May 2022.

Sam Horsfield's Driver
Beginning with a TaylorMade Stealth Plus, Horsfield today has almost a complete set of TaylorMade golf clubs. He was using a Ping G425 model not too long ago, but it's obvious that he was a fan of TaylorMade Woods because he carried the original SIM at the top of the bag for a time. The loft on his Stealth Plus model is eight degrees.
Reviewers tested the Stealth Plus, a model that is also used by Collin Morikawa and Tiger Woods, and it yielded great results. Relentlessly fast ball speeds provide lots of range, and the small design will appeal to ball strikers who are more confident.
Sam Horsfield's Fairways
Interestingly, Horsfield chooses to use two TaylorMade M6 fairway woods after using SIM2 versions for a short while.
Unexpectedly, there are a lot more professionals than you would expect that use older Fairway woods since it's maybe the hardest club to master, and once a player does, they don't want to switch to a different model they feel comfortable and confident with.
Horsfield has returned to his two M6s, which have loft angles of 15 and 18 degrees, which makes sense.
Sam Horsfield's Irons
It appears that Horsfield carries two separate four irons that he uses in and out of his setup. He is carrying a Srixon ZX5 and a TaylorMade P7MC, and he may make his choice depending on the conditions and the course he is playing. The remaining irons on his rack are TaylorMade P7TWs. Horsfield switches from pitching wedge to five-iron in his irons.
The milled grind sole is the primary distinction between the P7TW and the bladed P730s that players like Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy have previously used. Using this CNC milling technology on an object other than a wedge was a first for TaylorMade.
The purpose of this sole is to provide the highest level of accuracy and consistency, and consequently, the optimal turf interaction. Accurate placement of the tungsten weight has been designed to enhance trajectory control and provide a deeper sensation at impact.
These irons are ideal for players seeking the highest level of control and accuracy since they are incredibly versatile and provide amazing feedback.
Sam Horsfield's Wedges
Horsfield opted to switch to Titleist models after playing TaylorMade milled grind raw wedges for some time. His first two are Vokey SM9s with lofts of 50 and 56 degrees, and his 60-degree model is a prototype.
Sam Horsfield's Putter
The last club Horsfield carries in his bag is a Bettinardi Inovai Hexperimental Prototype, which is shaped more like a mallet than Horsfield's typical blade design from earlier models. Horsfield has been using Bettnardi putters for a while now, and it doesn't appear like it will be changing anytime soon.
Sam Horsfield's Golf Ball
The golf ball used by Horsfield is a Titleist Pro V1x. It has the same softer cover and redesigned 2.0 ZG Process Core as the Pro V1, which improves feel and control while also increasing distance. The Pro V1x, the lower spinning type, is what sets the two apart, which makes sense considering how crucial distance out is on Tour right now.
