In 2019, during an interview with the PGA Tour, Scheffler imparted some valuable advice. He emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with people one loves, regardless of their religious beliefs. For Scheffler, as a Christian, this aspect holds particular significance. He suggested that life should be spent with close, trustworthy friends.

He met his caddie, Ted Scott, during a bible study; at that time, Scott had been caddying for Bubba Watson for 15 years, and in late 2021, when their association concluded, Scheffler asked Scott to caddie for him. He said, "I really want to work with a Christian. That's how I try to live my life."

Lastly, Scheffler and his close friend Sam Burns co-host an annual retreat with the College Golf Fellowship members, a faith-based group.
